Vanky advises both Hong Kong and multi-national companies on compliance with the Companies Ordinance and the laws relevant to the operation of a business in Hong Kong. He drafts company documentation and commercial agreements, including shareholders agreements and terms and conditions of sale.

Vanky also provides counsel to clients with labour law issues, and to those seeking to ensure compliance with employment statute in Hong Kong.

Vanky advises on, and drafts, wills for the firm’s clients, including those entering into complex matrimonial proceedings. He also deals with registration of trade marks and registered designs in Hong Kong and co-ordinates their registration in other parts of their world.

EDUCATION

Vanky holds a Diploma in Business Practice and Commercial Law from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1989 and in England and Wales in 1991.
