LA Law Firm is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant or Junior Attorney to join our dynamic team under the guidance of counsel Maryna Mkrtycheva. Maryna is a head of Business Protection and White-Collar Crime (WCC) practice and a young and talented lawyer named "Advocate of the Year – 2024" in criminal law and recognized among the best young and ambitious lawyers of Ukraine in "Top 35 Under 30 Lawyers 2024". This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level professional to gain valuable experience in the dynamic environment.
⏤ WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide exceptional legal support to clients and address their inquiries.
- Draft legal documents of varying complexity, including for pre-trial investigations and trials.
- Participate in negotiations and case strategy development.
- Effectively interact with government agencies, law enforcement, courts, and other stakeholders.
- Deliver results and maintain high-quality service and productivity.
⏤ QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong foundation in criminal law and process, with knowledge of relevant case law and European Court of Human Rights (criminal) practices.
- A completed legal education (specialist/master's degree) and 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and oral communication in Ukrainian.
⏤ ADVANTAGES
- Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate level or above).
- Possession of an attorney's certificate (a plus).
