When parallelism costs billions: what the AMCU's decision means for the pharmaceutical market
Almost UAH 5 billion. This is the total amount of the fine imposed by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) in its decision № 370-r dated 31.07.2025 on the two largest distributors of medicines – BaDM LLC (UAH 2.37 billion) and JV Optima-Pharm, LTD (UAH 2.43 billion). This figure, which is equal to the budget of a small city, makes even experienced lawyers put down their coffee for a moment and read the text more carefully.
