
Tax audit and risk assessment for RepOffice in Kazakhstan
Legal Alliance organized an audit of the tax and accounting statements of the client's local office in Central Asia. Local professional auditors were also involved in the work, and together with our lawyers, they carried out risk assessments and made calculations.
During the implementation of the project, we analyzed the client's activities over the past three years and identified certain points that the financial department of the head office could consider controversial.
Within the framework of risk management, our team provided a number of recommendations on elimination of shortcomings and developed an action plan. Partner Vitalii Savchuk and senior associate Yaroslav Furiaka supported this process at every stage.
Based on the results of cooperation, our team brought the client's activities into full compliance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and coordinated local processes with the requirements of the head office. As a result, the client managed to prevent risks for an amount exceeding 400,000 euros.
