Legal support of the project "Decentralization and Healthcare Network Effective Management"
Partner of Legal Alliance Oleksii Bezhevets joined the expert group of the Project "Effective governance of the health care facilities network in a decentralized environment" as an expert in legal support of investment projects and public-private partnerships.
The Project will consolidate the cooperation of national and international experts and stakeholders to assist Ukrainian communities in building viable networks of healthcare facilities. During 9 months of 2021-22 the project will be implemented by a consortium of expert groups Forum of Health Transformation with the support of the programs ULEAD with Europe and GIZ Ukraine.
Together with other experts, Oleksii will contribute to achievement of the main goal of the Project – to increase efficiency of healthcare delivery system at community level through better governance and support of a population – centered healthcare network which will ensure benefits to all range of stakeholders:
- community’s members (residents);
- medical service providers;
- local governments; and
- local community as a whole.
On November 18, the opening press conference of the Project took place on the platform of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center. And starting from November 23, a series of online integration conferences will be realized in order to explain the project objectives, planned outcomes and opportunities for participation. Events are held for various regional hubs in the regions of Ukraine.
Under the Project, managers and specialists of healthcare institutions of all levels and other representatives of local governments can receive professional assistance, in particular, in:
- assessment of the need for medical services;
- financial risk assessment;
- cost analysis; and
- identification of investment needs.
