Legal Alliance's team successfully defended Client's interests in defamation dispute

The plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the Legal Alliance's client, alleging that he had disseminated (verbally at the staff meeting and in email correspondence) incorrect information, which, in the plaintiff's opinion, had violated the honor, dignity and business reputation.

In witness of the position, the plaintiff has provided the testimonial evidence, which testified that the Legal Alliance's client had spoken words affecting the paintiff's authority among employees and humiliated own honor and dignity.

The case is interesting since the attorneys managed to destroy the evidence of the opponents during the interrogation of witnesses in court. The attorneys found out the text of their testimonies had been prepared at the plaintiff's request, in addition, by other persons, namely lawyers. Moreover, during oral interrogation, witnesses gave contradictory testimonies and answers to attorneys' questions, which led the court to believe that such testimony should be taken critically.

Due to the high level of professionalism in drafting procedural documents and representation in court, the Legal Alliance's team composed of partner Illya Kostin, attorney Anastasia Grachova and junior associate Sofia Hodovana, successfully proved to the court the unfounded charges against the client.
