Vitaliy Savchuk Will Make a Report at the Workshop Arranged by International Fiscal Association for Pharma Sector

On 21.05.2015 Ukrainian department of International Fiscal Association (ІFA Ukraine) will held the third business focused meeting dedicated to tax and legal aspects of pharma industry in Ukraine.

Members of ІFA Ukraine and representatives from pharma business will discuss the issues of the taxation of pharmaceutical companies (the VAT, additional import duties), intercompany financing in pharma business for planning results of companies’ activity, choice of legal forms for carrying on pharma business activity in Ukraine, antimonopoly risks, as well as latest changes in anti-corruption legislation and their impact on pharma business in Ukriane.

Senior Associate at Legal Alliance Company Vitaliy Savchuk will make a report concerning trademark and patent risks of the pharmaceutical companies. Participants will be informed about avoiding cases when distributor (or other third party) appropriates your trademark, patent search as a way to avoid infringement of IP rights, as well as patent trolling in Ukraine.
