Lidiya Sangarovskaya Acted a Jury Member at III All-ukrainian Debate Tournament on Civil Law and Procedure in Vinnytsia
On April 21st Vinnytsia hosted III All-Ukrainian Debate Tournament on Civil Law and Procedure “Art of Speech in Court” organized by the Court of Appeal of Vinnytsia Region and Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National Univetsity.
The event was attended by around 100 law students, professors and experts from all over Ukraine. Its subject was medical law. At the debate, the participants demonstrated their orator skills, knowledge and ability to use them on practice, reason and protect their case in court, as well as put their case in writing.
Legal Alliance Company was one of the general partners of the tournament. Lidiya Sangarovskaya, senior associate, was a member of the debate jury due to her deep expertise and extensive experience in medical law.
After the selection debate Lidiya conducted a thematic workshop attended by students who had finished debating. Also during the event, a discussion was held with participants, judges and partners of the tournament on topical issues of reforming the judicial system and legal education.
“When a student, I myself took part in such tournaments, prepared diligently, worried after failure. Now, being a judge, I was looking at the students understanding how much effort they made to reach this stage and could not but be happy” – Lidiya commented.
