In particular, he focused the participants' attention on regulatory issues such as: government control and procedure of marketing authorization of medicinal products, the import of medicinal products into Ukraine, quality control, certification and introduction of medicinal products into circulation, good manufacturing practices. He also addressed the legalization of medical devices and regulation in the field of cosmetic products in Ukraine.

"Ukraine is steadily moving towards aligning its legislation on medicinal products, medical devices, and cosmetic products with EU standards. The digitalization of processes in the healthcare sector is ongoing. The government acknowledges the existence of certain transparency issues in the sector, therefore relevant bills have been registered for their solution," Dmytro stated.
