Mini-Seminar: New Customs Code of Ukraine that pharmaceutical companies should be aware of

March 13, 2012 The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the second attempt voted for the adoption of modified draft of the new Customs Code of Ukraine (hereinafter - the new Code), which was first adopted on October 3, 2011 and subsequently vetoed by the President of Ukraine. Of course, the new Code is so welcome and necessary because it expounds the current Customs Code of Ukraine in the new edition. The need for its improvement stems from the fact that the national customs legislation was flawed and required harmonization with international standards.

For the pharmaceutical industry, which is developing quite actively, the changes introduced into the new Code are rather positive and progressive, because they simplify customs procedures, which pharmaceutical companies-importers are often faced to, settle the relationship between the declarants and customs authorities, as well as specify and extend the list of declarants rights.

This workshop is intended to highlight a number of novels of the Customs Code of Ukraine and its impact on pharmaceutical companies from 01.06.2012
