Education: Ms. Ptashnyk has received Marter’s degree in Law from Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University.

Main specialisations: Antitrust and Competition Law, Commercial Law and Contract Law, Corporate Law.

According to the survey conducted by the "Legal newspaper" within the project "Top 250. The best lawyers through the eyes of colleagues in Legal Business  2010/2011", Victoria Ptashnyk was among the 9 most recommended lawyers in Antitrust (Competition) Law.

Ms. Ptashnyk started her career at the Diamant Joint-Stock Bank as a Junior Attorney and rose to the position of Head of Legal department of the central office of the bank. Prior to joining Legal Alliance, Ms. Ptashnyk has been working for Spenser & Kauffmann Law Firm (2006-2011), for the last three years - as a Partner, heading the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Law Practice.

Professional experience of Victoria Ptashnyk includes legal support of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), resolving direct investments issues, structuring of cross-border transactions in M&A, legal support for turnover of the securities, banking and financial law, corporate and commercial law, obtaining merger clearances and permits for concerted actions of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (the AMCU), advising on unfair competition and abuse of dominance, representation of clients in the AMCU within the procedures of challenging its decisions.

Ms.Ptashnyk also headed Working Group on Competition Law of European Business Association on alterations and modifications to the antitrust legislation (some of her proposals were considered and adopted by the AMCU).

Victoria Ptashnyk is a member of Ukrainian Bar Association and Kiev Bar Association.
