Victoria Ptashnyk has joined Legal Alliance Company as an Associated partner

Legal Alliance Company is pleased to announce Victoria Ptashnyk, attorney-at-law, has joined our team as an Associated partner.

Ms. Ptashnyk graduated from Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University (Master of Law).

Victoria Ptashnyk started her career at the Diamant Joint-Stock Bank as a Junior Attorney at the contractual work department. Soon she rose to the position of Head of Legal department at the banks’central office. Prior to joining Legal Alliance Company, Ms. Ptashnyk worked at Spenser & Kauffmann Law Firm (2006-2011), spending the last three years there as a partner and headed the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Law Practice.

Professional experience of Victoria Ptashnyk includes legal support of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), resolving direct investments issues, structuring of cross-border transactions in M&A, legal support for turnover of the securities, banking and financial law, corporate and commercial law, intellectual property issues, obtaining merger clearances and permits for concerted actions of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (the AMCU), advising on unfair competition and abuse of dominance, representation of clients in the AMCU within the procedures of challenging its decisions.

Ms.Ptashnyk also headed Working Group on Competition Law of European Business Association, where she was working on alterations and modifications to the antitrust legislation (some of her proposals were considered and adopted by the AMCU).

Victoria Ptashnyk is a member of Ukrainian Bar Association and Kiev Bar Association, fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English.
