Natalia Lavrenova, the Lawyer of Legal Alliance Company, made a presentation at the VI professional conference "Protection of Intellectual Property: Practice in alcohol, tobacco and food industries"

On June 11, this year, the VI professional conference "Protection of Intellectual Property: Practice in alcohol, tobacco and food industries" was held.

It was attended by the representatives of the alcohol and food industries, law firms, patent attorneys, legal experts, representatives of the Customs Service and the Department of Intellectual Property.

Within the frames of the conference there were discussed issues related to the protection against unfair registrations of trademarks for goods and services and utility models; the practice of invalidation of patents and certificates, which were unfairly obtained; the recognition of trademarks for goods as well-known; the court practice of disputes in this area; the practice of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine regarding protection of market participants against unfair competition.

Legal Alliance Company was represented at the conference by its lawyer Natalia Lavrenova, who gave a presentation, entitled: "A review of cases prohibiting the use of a registered trade mark".
