Legal Alliance Company secured repayment of funds kept in Nadra Bank accounts

On March 4, 2010 the Kyiv Commercial Court adopted a decision with respect to legal claim served by a legal entity against OJSC Commercial Bank Nadra regarding repayment of the funds kept in current accounts opened with the Bank in the amount of UAH 441,432.76, the Court resolved to satisfy in full the plaintiff’s demands.

From February 10, 2009 until February 10, 2010 a provisional administration was appointed by the National Bank of Ukraine for Nadra Bank and a moratorium was imposed on creditor demands’ satisfaction. In their objections to the legal claim the Bank stated that the Court had to take into account the moratorium.

Nevertheless, the Court found the arguments put forward by the Plaintiff as justified and ruled to allow the legal claim in full.
