Lawyers of Legal Alliance Company took part in a Workshop on Topical Issues of Land Law in the Crimea

A Practical Workshop on Topical Issues of Land Law was held on 16 October in Simeiz settlement of Greater Yalta on the south coast of the Crimea under the auspices of Ukrainian Bar Association.

The speakers included Viktor Mokrushin, Head of Ukrainian Bar Association's division in Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Judge, Economic Court of Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Dmitry Mosienko, counsel at law; Gennadiy Novikov, Acting Head of Yalta City Department of Land Resources. Gennadiy Rusanov, Director, Southern Legal Group Law Office served as moderator.

In his report, Viktor Mokrushin touch upon a question of land disputes jurisdiction, shared his experience in solving this problem, and analyzed the case law of the Supreme Economic Court and the Supreme Court of Ukraine in the area of land disputes.

Dmitry Mosienko addressed the issues of land easements, specifically, lawfulness of setting such limits in land lease agreements, registration of agreements, and appeals against refusal of such registration.

Gennadiy Novikov told about specific features of changing the intended use of land and practicability of such change's registration.
