Legal Alliance Partner Aleksei Bezhevets Participates in the 6th Eurojuris Practical Group Days in Germany
Practical Group Days, a key event for the Europe's largest network of law firms Eurojuris, took place in the German city of Düsseldorf on May 7-10, 2009.
The event gathered 160 lawyers from various countries in Europe and across the world.
In its six years the Practical Group Days became a strategic tool in the network's activity. Participation in the Days is an opportunity to exchange first-hand experience in different segments of national markets and become established as a specialist in relevant areas of law practice.
Eurojuris now features nine practical groups, including for corporate law, employment law, family and succession law, bankruptcy, intellectual property law, international arbitration, real estate law, as well as the International Business Group and the Latin and Francophone Group.
Aleksei Bezhevets, president of Eurojuris Ukraine Association and partner of Legal Alliance Law Firm, participated in the Ukrainian delegation to the Practical Group Days.
Mr Bezhevets was involved in the work of a corporate law group and participated in the first initiative meeting to create new practical groups: for tax law and for environmental law. Within this latter group Aleksei Bezhevets presented a report on implementation of Kyoto mechanisms in Ukraine.
