Legal Alliance Senior Lawyer Andrei Gorbatenko Spoke at the Conference “Pharmaceutics: Protection and Assurance of Intellectual Property Rights”
The conference “Pharmaceutics: Protection and Assurance of Intellectual Property Rights” ran on 15 April 2009, focusing on protection of intellectual property rights arising in respect of pharmaceutical products.
Andrei Gorbatenko, senior lawyer for Legal Alliance Law Firm, was among the speakers at the conference with the presentation Ways to Protect Intellectual Property Rights to a Pharmaceutical Product.
The event attracted staff of most of the leading law firms and expert companies dealing in the pharmaceutical sector, as well as representatives of the State Intellectual Property Department, Ukrainian Innovations and Patent Information Service Centre, and Health Ministry’s State Pharmacology Centre.
Topical issues addressed at the conference included referral to the Ukrainian Anti-monopoly Committee as an alternative to a law suite; protection of information on the pharmaceutical product’s registration file; protection of rights to a proprietary process, and persisting practice of bad faith registration of industrial samples.
