Team of Legal Alliance Law Firm partners added to its numbers effective 1 September 2008.
Aleksei Bezhevets, attorney, joined the firm as its associate partner.
Mr Bezhevets is a graduate of the Ukrainian National Academy of Home Affairs.
Presently he is taking an MBA course (Executive MBA, Institute of International Business Relations, Berlin).
He is a member of the Ukrainian Lawyers’ Association since 2004. In 2005, he was elected chair of the Association’s committee for adjective law.
Before 2001, Mr Bezhevets worked as a senior expert with the contract administration unit of the Ukrainian Home Affairs Ministry’s International Relations Department.
In the past seven years Mr Bezhevets has made a career from a lawyer to managing partner at ARKA Law Firm.
Aleksei Bezhevets’ specialisation is business and energy law.
According to the annual publication Ukrainian Law Firms 2008. A Handbook for Foreign Clients by Legal Practice Publishers, Aleksei Bezhevets is the most recommended lawyer for energy law in Ukraine.
Mr Bezhevets has nearly 50 publications in legal periodicals.
According to Mr Bezhevets, his principal motive for working with Legal Alliance was the desire to scale up his legal practice in a team of like-minded professionals.
