Summaries of the round-table discussion “Judicial practice in the sphere of regulation of property rights for non-residents’ realty in Ukraine”

Legal Alliance Company together with Ukrainian Bar Association were the initiators of the round-table discussion "Judicial practice in the sphere of regulation of property rights for non-residents' realty in Ukraine", which was held on September, 7 in Kiev.

Participants of the action - Ukrainian lawyers, representatives of Russian companies from Moscow and Severodvinsk, directors of Crimean rest-houses and sanatoriums - discussed legal issues of Ukrainian-Russian relations in the field of acknowledge of property rights for objects of social sphere as well as practical aspects of purchasing land plots at natural reserves.

"Lobbying of positive changes in Ukrainian legislation can be successful only if all interested parties act together, in coordination, - says Ilya Kostin, Managing partner of Legal Alliance Company. - We followed this principle while formulating the goal of the round-table discussion: to join forces of the owners in order to defend their interests".

According to organizers, this goal was achieved. The participants approved the idea to forward to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine address concerning introduction of changes to certain resolutions of the Government.
