Legal Alliance Senior Partner Dmitry Aleshko Participated in "Pharmacy 2008. Spring" Pan-Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Conference

Pan-Ukrainian Conference "Pharmacy 2008. Spring" took place from 26 till 29 May in Foros, Crimea.

The Conference provided forum for discussion on current status of the Ukrainian pharmacy market, gave floor to high-profile representatives of pharmaceutical sector to dwell on topical problems of pharmacy business, and attempted to develop common approach to improvement of pharmacy operation practice for further development of Ukraine's pharmaceutical industry.

Conference participants included representatives, executives and leading experts for the State Service for Medicinal Agents under the Ukrainian Health Ministry, State Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Articles Quality Control Inspectorate, pharmacies and pharmacy chains, manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical products, consultancies, research and advertising companies, specialist associations and media.

Conference session on legal aspects of Ukrainian pharmacy market was moderated by Dmitry Aleshko, senior partner of Legal Alliance Law Firm.

During the session the participants discussed activity of state supervisory bodies in exercising control over pharmacy businesses; particularities of advertising pharmaceuticals in Ukraine; legal governance of business contracts in pharmaceuticals trade, and aspects of pharmacy business legal protection.
