Healthy lifestyle and diet, the part of which is dietary supplements, are becoming more and more popular. Consequently, the issue of putting into circulation and labelling of dietary supplements is becoming more relevant today.
Ukrainian legislation considers dietary supplements food, and sets a lot of requirements to their composition, labelling and putting into circulation. Legal regulation is so much detailed that it concerns even font size of the text on labels of dietary supplements.
However, non-observance of requirements to labelling of dietary supplements or violation of the procedure for putting them into circulation can lead to adverse consequences for the producer, distributor and consumers.
